The work of Dr. Paul's group is highly innovative. They have identified antibodies that, instead of passively binding to the target molecule, are able to fragment it and destroy its function. Their recent work indicates that naturally occurring catalytic antibodies, particularly those of the IgA subtype, may be useful in the treatment and prevention of HIV infection.

Instead of seeing the disease (depression) as the result of a chemical imbalance, these researchers argue that the brain's cells are shrinking and dying. This theory has gained momentum in the past few months, with the publication of several high profile scientific papers. The effectiveness of Prozac, these scientists say, has little to do with the amount of serotonin in the brain. Rather, the drug works because it helps heal our neurons, allowing them to grow and thrive again.
In this sense, Prozac is simply a bottled version of other activities that have a similar effect, such as physical exercise.
Umm I think I said that these pills were in place of other stimuli in our lives a few months ago in a review. Sorry to be a know it all but its true! I feel they will also discover very soon that drugs that treat ADD/ADHD are just a substitute for stimuli from the environment and social interaction. I think these drugs just suppress the natural ability to learn a productive way of functioning. I think ADD is just a form of evolution. The evolutionary process of becoming smarter and more productive people. Yeah I know....some will say I am nuts...just wait:)

How GPS works.
The simple explanation behind GPS is this: If you know how far away you are from three known points, you can use high school math to determine exactly where you are.
A very simple explanation that any high school student can understand. I always wanted to know how that worked!
